Theodore Boone goes by Theo, and has a passion to help people. Both of his parents are lawyers, so he knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a big trial lawyer. At Theo’s young age, he’s not yet able to handle real cases so he takes cases in animal court. He seeks to learn as much as possible about the justice system, and when he’s not in school or at his parent’s office he’s at the courthouse asking questions or in animal court fighting to keep animals with their owners and out of the pound. Theo always has advice for his friends, but doesn’t know how his mom, Marcella Boone, can be a divorce attorney. He can’t stand the fact that someone would want to ruin a kid’s childhood. Theo’s dad Woods Boone is a real estate lawyer, and Theo doesn’t understand why his dad would choose a practice of law where he never actually goes to trial. Theo’s dream of becoming a big-time trial lawyer shapes the adventures he gets into.
